Shooting tips with basic manual controls
These are tips to take great night shots with minimal manual controls
- use the exposure settings or long shutter mode if your camera has it
- double the iso that normal daytime shots are taken in. If this introduces noise try lowering the amount of iso.
- use the timer setting to eliminate camera shake(s) when the button is pressed.
- night shots with long shutter times and or exposure compensation requires a steady camera so you will need a tripod or a steady surface to rest the camera on.
